FlightSpace

Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 1, 2026

FlightSpace processes only the data needed to provide forecasts and planning tools, secure the service, and support Apple purchases. We do not sell personal data, show ads, or track people across apps and websites.

Data we process

How the data is used

Data is used to provide forecasts and calculations, restore purchases, secure the service, support offline behavior, and diagnose technical failures.

Service providers

Depending on the feature, data may be processed by the FlightSpace API and hosting provider, Open-Meteo, and Apple services including MapKit, Apple Weather, StoreKit, and App Attest. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

Retention

The weather backend may temporarily cache a response for selected coordinates: fresh data for up to 30 minutes and a stale fallback for up to 12 hours. Access logs are configured to mask IP addresses and remove URL parameters and are retained for no more than seven days. The App Attest key is kept while needed to secure access. On-device data remains until you clear the cache, delete the relevant item, or remove the app.

Your choices and rights

You can change location access in iOS Settings, clear cache in FlightSpace, and manage subscriptions in the App Store. FlightSpace has no first-party user accounts. Contact support@flightspace.app with a privacy or data request.

Security and updates

Network requests use HTTPS and weather API access is protected by App Attest. No transmission or storage method can guarantee absolute security. The effective date will change when this policy is materially updated.

Limitation

FlightSpace provides calculated planning support and does not replace official sources, operator judgment, applicable rules, or a preflight inspection.
